Hey everyone! Kylie here. I wanted to come on here to give an update on what’s happening this summer over here at KOUG, while also testing out this nifty new blog feature (Thanks Nick for implementing!). Currently, it’s just me, Nick, and Paiten. We have limited activity right now, but we’ve still gotten to do some cool things! Especially being able to play a VanCoug’s song on air, “Dark Flyght” by Ophidian Breeze, and interview the band. We’ve also started up “The Queer Agenda”, our first regular DJ show starring Auncle On T (By regular, I mean that DJ Refresh had some shows last semester, but sadly had to stop after two because we were having music purchasing issues)! We will also be doing a group Student Media Board Trip later this month, so stay tuned for a blog post about that.
Anyways, thanks for checking in with the station! We are so excited to continue building up KOUG to the best that it can be.
